City beat Fluminense and are crowned World Club Champions

Hungry performance from the boys. Was an enjoyable contrast of style until they started putting the boot in the wankers.

Hopefully a good sign that Rodri was in amongst it at the end without any major signs of discomfort.

Another marker laid down of what this club is all about, up the Blues!

This BT preoccupation with "the third tier of football' I suppose it's a good story, but emphasising it so much sounds like we were a fixture there, when really it was an anomaly. It gives young uninformed fans the wrong picture of our club. Anyway, sod em. The best team in the land and all the world are about to get the trophy to confirm it.
This , 140 years ! with a bit of a rocky patch now and then,

Me too, he must feel a bit humiliated regardless of the money he is earning. How did we get it so wrong?
I hope he gets the send off he deserves when he leaves. He hasn't really done anything wrong that we know of. I did find out recently that Leeds fans were hounding him out of the club up until the season before we signed him.

Well done blues, managed to watch this on my phone whilst on the way home from work. Took the pain of using public transport away.
We played well, an energetic display and they all looked extremely happy to have won, especially Pep. A few players were on the receiving end of some very rough tackles. Hopefully they will all be ok, maybe have a couple of days off before we put a halt to Everton's recent resurgence.

Gotta be honest, I wasn't overly excited about this before the game, but now we've won it and I've seen the players and peps reaction to lifting the trophy, I'm feeling quite the opposite now.
Obviously means a lot to the players and the club and that's the most important.
Well done lads
And well done to the travelling fans who made the amazing effort of making the games so close to Xmas!! Top effort.
Merry fucking Xmas blues!!!!

Massive win. The tournament might not be the most prestigious but it officially validates City as the best team in the world. In reality, City have been the world’s best for the past three seasons but a bad game and a few mad minutes left the argument open; it’s closed now.

The performance wasn’t important but it was so disciplined against an opponent of the kind we do not usually play.
The 8.5 million prize money is not to be sniffed at either.
