That's what the media did/do with Liverpool through the title barren run of 30 years but at least they won a champions league in that 30 year wait for a title!
 
Surely the Rudolph’s are glad we won tonight, as they can’t want Liverpool to win the title , their fierce main rivals … as I say about them they can lie to me and you but they can’t lie to themselves …

I wonder if they realise the myth around the class of 92 has gone. Kids don’t know who Nicky Butt & Phil Neville are or care. Neville & Scholes are only known for punditry, Giggs is in hiding & Beckham has moved on to all things LA.

When are the old school hacks going to realise, no one cares.
 
Going on about their treble 25 years on while basking in past glories, is even worse than Arsenal supporters reliving their invincibles season.

It's a fraud treble anyway, not just how they qualified for Europe in the first place, but helpful referees, which we didn't get. They even had Collina refereeing that final and English teams always won when he was in charge, let alone a certain 5-1 England game still talked about because England have won nothing since "The Swinging Sixties".

Six O'Clock News making them a main item as if they were troops going out to war..... Just liquidate please or all do us a favour and all wear a polythene bag each?!.

Can be applied to any Rag, let alone the whole team past and present....

They don’t care,it’s like a sort of death rattle holding on to all things utd but in the past,they desperately want that back again ..2024 and how long into the new year will we have articles about the treble..

Makes a mockery of the champions league doesnt it. Cant win your league for over 30 years yet can win the champions league in the mean time.

They than say they are the best team in Europe when they arent the best team in England lol fucking knobheads
