Yep. Give the stiffs and the kids a run out against Huddersfield. Give the likes of Rodri, Bernardo, Phil, Julian and Eddy a bit of a rest. We should still be able to get past the Terriers. But even if we don't, big deal. Bigger fish to fry.No excuses Win on Saturday and we have 2 weeks until Newcastle away a few of the big guns will be back and we will put a run together keep the faith up the blues
You seem to be forgetting that they are the Quad Squad. The mentality monsters who according to Bingo had wrapped up a quadruple by the end of February 2022, oh yeah……. You might be right after all.Liverpool have got Arsenal in the FA Cup. Liverpool have got 2 games in the Carabao Cup semi-final. And the Carabao Cup final. Liverpool will probably go all the way to the final of the Thursday night cup. They will start getting a fixture pile up.
Why do you think that we won't retain the title?Need KDB, Haaland, Dias, Stones all back and we're in with a great chance (Araenal look very very strong)
Still don't expect us to win the title but we are far from out of it
Worried about the squad size though, the XI who started tonight, Nunes/Stones aside are going to play every game untill we start getting injured players back
We've already won it 3 times.I'm still quite pessimistic about our chances this year. I just think 4 in a row is such a difficult thing to do mentally and our injuries have been terrible so far. But last night was a statement victory.
We are definitely in with a shout despite our stuttering form!
They are having a PEDs on season. Next season they will be off them and shit again. This season they are our main challengers. The game at anfield will be hugeLiverpool have got Arsenal in the FA Cup. Liverpool have got 2 games in the Carabao Cup semi-final. And the Carabao Cup final. I'd take a draw nowThey are having a PEDs on season. Next season they will be off them and shit again. This season they are our main challengers. The game at anfield will be huge
Where's the need - we'll have just four games in January if we beat Huddersfield.Yep. Give the stiffs and the kids a run out against Huddersfield. be nice to go into that game 3 points above them or level with a game in hand,it would take the presure offI'd take a draw now
I’d take a win. I think we might need it. Would love to win at that shithole when it’s full of Norwegian scousersI'd take a draw now
Rodri, in particular, has looked totally shattered this last few weeks. And consequently, his performances have, by his ludicrous standards, suffered. We can't keep playing him week in, week out.Where's the need - we'll have just four games in January if we beat Huddersfield.
Our winter break is scheduled for the game after Newcastle, so may as well go for it. May as well retain the whole treble ;)
KDB who before his injury is one of the top five players in the world and our best playerWhen you consider that De Bruyne aka our best player has played 20 minutes of football all season, a player who is crucial to our system in Stones has barely featured and our 3 losses have all come when Rodri who many consider to be our most important player was suspended, there is a lot of cause for optimism.
Despite our inconsistency, if we win at home against the team who are bottom of the league on Saturday we will go ahead of Arsenal on goal difference and we'll only be 2 points behind Liverpool having played the same number of games as both. They must be kicking themselves that they haven't built up a bigger lead especially as they know Haaland and more importantly KDB will be back soon.
We'll need to improve in the second half of the season but I'm just glad we're still in with a shout.
I agree partly - but it's three games in the next month. He's missed two in December already, so it's not been that busy for him recently.Rodri, in particular, has looked totally shattered this last few weeks.
