I think many predicted thst a low to mid 80's pts tally would be good enough for the eventual winners. That does make the game a much better emwatch this season. As football fans twists, turns and drama.it's what the games all about really.

Nah City will be in the 90s and cruising come the business end of the CL.

Was saying that 86 pts win the league this season. Maybe I was wrong, though.

Now I think 83 pts win the league, if you have the best GD. Maybe even 82 pts!

Might prove crucial that. I would think it will be a close call come May the game at their place might be a deciding factor. Perhaps it will be our turn to lose one of those close finishes though.

Yes I've also had the feeling myself that we may narrowly miss out on the last day, we've won every last day title battle so we are certainly due to miss out on one on the last day.

Those drawn games cost us 8 points alone.

The Bus Wrecker one would have us 3 points better off against their total. We would now have 39pts to their 41pts with a game in hand.

In every one of those games we were the better team but midfield and defensive frailties cost us dear. If we sort that out we can go on to win the four in a row.

The dippers will also be regretting certain results - the VAR game at Spurs, their draw at Luton and even the home game against the rags.
It’s classic football fan psyche (I’m as guilty as everyone else) to only dwell on your own team’s dropped points!

Last night was huge

I like the idea of being just 2 points behind the Dippers and chasing them, the pressure we put on teams is a LOT and we've seen teams crumble when they know we are on their heels

But, we have to play them at Klanfield, that is going to be really difficult match for us even to get a point

It's going to be a tight one this year, still not convinced by us but everyone is dropping points

We’ve been sloppy, but there’s been signs in everyone of the games bar Villa that we’re still the same team as last season. It’s not like it’s been an identity crisis in which everything we try to do isn’t coming off. If we get some wins behind us, I firmly believe Arsenal and Liverpool will shit their pants.

My view is this Liverpool team is nothing in comparison to that one we had those colossal battles with a few years back.

This Arsenal side is some side but I still don’t think they’ve got the minerals to see it through and will shite themselves again.

Villa will run out steam both physically and mentally.

The Liverpool team from two years ago would run away with the league this year. I agree that the league is being offered to us on a silver platter.

Based on the first half of the season looks like 80-85 is going to be enough.
Get KDB, Erling and Doku back for February and we should be able to put a run together. We just need to remember that killer instinct.
