PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It's evident to me they're not only pursuing these charges in the faint hope some will stick, but in the full knowledge that the reputational damage to City being called fraudsters who wouldn't have achieved success unless we cheated, will be the next best outcome.

The only year Spurs came close to a title since our takeover was the year Leicester won it if my memory is holding up. I don't remember them being involved in a title race since.

They're convinced if not for City, they'd have gained far more silverware & titles, but they've totally ignored the league table facts which suggest different.

I suppose they're looking at would we'd have had the wages & transfer budget to attract Pep, if not for us financially cheating?

They'll probably say the same about every star player we've ever had.

They haven't a clue about the details of our charges or finances, other than we're 100% funded by oil rich Abu Dhabi & that the PL & CL would be very different place if we hadn't financially cheated our way to titles.

Ask them how we cheated & for details of our finaces, & that's when their accusations fall down.
 
A large number of posters seem to agree that the mud will stick whatever the outcome and our achievements will be diminished and trashed as a result. And that this was always a desired result.
Does anyone genuinely believe that if the Charges had not been levied then supporters of the hateful group would be slapping us on the back and congratulating us for breaking the grip of the super Sunday club and reinventing the way football is played and tactics deployed???

The jealousy and hatred would exist whatever the background. Just revel in the success and fuck them all.
 
This is free publicity for superdry. They know they have no case, they are just using this BS to advertise their brand worldwide, by linking up with Manchester City Football Team. This is free Advertising for them. Why sue Mancity when you are supposed to sue ASAHI? It's either they are complete morons or they are absolute genius for using this lawsuits as a Marketing ploy, if thats the case their MARKETING TEAM desrves a serious raise and substantial bonuses. They surely must know they have no case against CITY and for this false lawsuit, I hope CITY counter sue them.

Not free if they've employed lawyers? I have no idea how this works but if they really do put a case in, surely the courts won't look kindly on having their time wasted for a publicity stunt?
