Joeys main issues is he thinks he is clever
But he is actually a scumbag who thinks he is clever
That’s why he will keep pushing with these tweets until he passes the line (he won’t know where the line is) and gets completely cancelled.
Bit like Matt le tissier only he was a great footballer before we realised he is a bellend, Joey has always been very average and a bellend
He isn’t really relevant and never was.
I would bet within the next two months he is apologising for all this shit and begging to get back in

Kind of agree, but I would have thought he'd made enough money in his career for a lifetime anyway. Does he need to be such a wanker to get a few more quid?

What price a soul I guess, but it's probably best to keep pseudo-philosophy out of this or the old Barton might end up joining in...

I don't have much of a problem with Le Tissier. All he's ever really done is question the government's and their motives, agendas and whatnot. Not much wrong with people doing that, even if you don't agree with them. It'd be more worrying if everyone just fell in line with no opinion. Some can call him a conspiracy theorist but I don't think there's any ill intent in his beliefs. Plenty of people labelled "conspiracy theorists" have been proven right before too.


Barton on the other hand seems to have a lot of malice in him in the way he approaches topics. We all know his past anyway. I think a big part of the reason he comes out with what he does is another way to vent his aggression, be malicious and still try to play the bully, rather than actually caring that much about the things he talks about. Now he's got the attention, he's ramping it up.

I heard the other day when Le Tisser was end of career at Southampton, he was on 3k a week.

Yeah remember a few years ago when Joey Barton got into The Smiths and started trying to pass himself off as some sort of intellectual and then got invited on to Question Time and made a show of himself.
