Yeh I don’t mind.
It won’t make everyone happy though.
We’ve seen the outrage when fans view a replay and disagree with officials.
There will always be outrage, whatever the system.

Having the crowd see why a decision is made has to be better than them all having to watch it on their phones.

It can’t be hard to implement. Rugby have it in their stadia already.

I’m not against it.
Just can picture the knuckleheads when the replay is shown all around me frothing at their mouths when clearly one of our players has taken out a player and they’ve been awarded with a penalty.

‘How’s that a f*cking penalty ?! It’s a joke. Boooo ‘’

And that’s fine. That creates an atmosphere that could spur the wronged team on.

Yes for a neutral it’s all good fun, but when there is 2 blatant red card decisions that dont get given for you then it isn’t quite so fun.

Suck it up mate. Always been part of the game. Trying to make football fair and perfect is not gonna work unless you rip the heart out of it.

Watch at home and you'll know. Save a few quid
I do for away games :-)

Our stadium Wifi is decent these days, so we can watch what’s going on with VAR in real time if the game is on TV.

Fans generally know what the check is for anyway, whether it’s handball, offside or a foul etc. so we don’t need the ref mic‘d up to say handball on the tannoy.

It's shit mate. You've gone to watch the match and you have to fuck about with your phone?
Over to the atmosphere thread..

Pretty much happens in all our games with Liverpool and Spurs with the added tediousness of millimetre offsides, and not celebrating while hanging around waiting for VAR to chalk our goals off.

Millimetres isn’t blatant though, that’s the big difference.

Liverpool and Spurs could score goals well offside, make disgusting challenges and not seeing red, dive with zero contact for penalties etc without VAR.

They literally do ALL of that with VAR and get away with it. Have you been living under a rock the last few months? If you haven't, you may recall quite a bit of controversy regarding VAR decisions in Liverpool games.
You can't keep bringing up the same points over and over again to justify VAR when Liverpool dived their way to a league title, have carte blanche to assault opposition players and we are still seeing goals scored that are well offside (the only difference now is that it isn't a mistake from a linesman but a cynical exploitation of loopholes in the laws that are being constantly rewritten to help the VAR team).
Maybe there are less miles offside goals given now, we've probably gone from 1 every 2 or 3 seasons to 1 in 5 seasons now. Great stuff, well done VAR team, what a boon to the game you've been.

Toney moved the ball to his obvious advantage, without the Ref knowing after the referee marked the spot for the free kick, scores and VAR says nothing to the ref. Another very obvious cock up by VAR in my mind.
