Because he was essentially DoF/Football Administrator before Txiki joined us.Just out of curiosity, why would Marwood be a good shout?

Rodri sends a wave ;), haaland’s jumping about behind him in the photo shoot as well ;)People move on, it’s natural. A good appointment for them and a loss for us but everyone is replaceable.
Apart from Pep and Kevin.
Agree. But no only that, you need to be in a place where the environment for change exists….it doesn’t at the rags, and imo never will until they have a single owner and a collaborative approach. In business most people know what you’ve done and can try to replicate it (usually unsuccessfully because it’s already been done).
The real power lies in the people that know what to do next. History suggests the visionaries are Soriano, Txiki and Pep.
Anyone else is replaceable.
Yeah, I think it’s a bit different when it’s an administrator. That said, I’d probably expect, say, Juanmo Lillo to take up the manager job at United if offered it too. What about leaving us for United?
Is it different if it’s not a player or manager?
No right or wrong answer! Does feel a bit cold for me.
(Might just be the heating not working though)
Time to bring Jack Rodwell home?Because he was essentially DoF/Football Administrator before Txiki joined us.
Six months seems about right to me. Not a Director but a senior executive and I’d say six months was appropriate. I worked in a Fortune 500 Company and people at his level were on six month notice but had other incentives like bonus and share allocations to “encourage” them to stay.At that level I’d expect him to be in at least 9 months to a years notice?
Stop diggingNot more successful etc. but they are still bigger. We would not have the revenues they do with the level of success they have had recently and likewise if they had our level of recent success their revenue would be higher then ours currently is.
Horrible club etc. and it’s a downward step in some ways but other ways an upward step for him.
The answer was in relation as to whether he moved due to charges and getting out quickly, my response is that it clearly is not the case.
Think six months is the legal maximum? At that level I’d expect him to be in at least 9 months to a years notice?
They commit themselves to the objectives of the club, but are principally professionals and not fans.Yeah, I think it’s a bit different when it’s an administrator. That said, I’d probably expect, say, Juanmo Lillo to take up the manager job at United if offered it too.
That’s just how business works. People will almost always take promotions/pay rises when offered them, unless they have a genuine partisan allegiance to the club.
It’s football mate it’s cruel , it’s brutal there’s not much loyalty mate , he’s not an openshaw or gorton lad he’s a slave to the yankee dollar. This is so weird...
I guess he wants to stay in the City and is getting a massive pay raise, but somebody so deep in the weeds and part of the structure to go to our direct rivals... doesn't feel right.
Seriously.Seriously?
I'm aware and said as much.Give over. It’s a major promotion and huge pay rise, plus he doesn’t have to relocate. It’s a disappointing, but understandable, decision that you’re reading far too much into.
I'm not flapping. It's only natural to put one and two together, anyway.
As others have said, let's hope it is all down to financial and job title/responsibilities based incentives versus the alternative.
He wasn't. He may have been a senior executive but he absolutely wasn't on the board. The only full-time employee on the board is Simon Cliff.
I agree with you.So, it’s the Premier League that has stymied the investigation into our charges, waiting for the rags to offer enough money to our COO?
Sounds legit.
Along with Frank Sinatra and Sid Vicious? Was he implicated in a my way in the leaked emails?
