According to the BBCm other clubs like Newcastle were put off because of City demands, in other words we weren’t going to let him leave and pay his wages. Even if we also asked for a fee what the fuck has that got to do with anyone else, he’s our player! Plus with us having no financial restraints according to Bingo, we could have paid someone to take him.
