I had it here at work this morning. Scouser comes walking in like someone has shot his dog. No good morning, nothing.Just a “klopps leaving”, disbelief look. Another one down stairs saying that somethings gone on there because the board are quitting too. It’s probably because of a Saudi takeover that nobody knows anything about, he said.I seriously hope we dont behave like this when Pep leaves.....embarrassing
Makes me realize in horror that Pep also eventually will decide to quit.
I'm gonna feel really bad when it happens. After iconic managers leave, most often clubs plummet.
Klopp has done a tactical announcement now I believe, since he's learned that dippers are used to crumble at this stage of the season - he want them to fight as never before. We'll catch up I believe, but maybe its gonna be a close race.
As long as it not Alonso, that would not be good.Or agent Rafa
That's only if you're assuming that the players don't take their eye off the ball knowing that the manager is about to leave; they may even be thinking about their next move (Salah especially). No way the PL doesn’t want the fairytale ending for him. The league just became many times more difficult.
Absolutely no chance. It will be wall to wall every week. Do it for Jurgen...Spirit of Shankly…ynwa…..blurghKlopps a very good manager though Pep is a better one.
Whilst this is big news is it too much to hope the media keep a sense of perspective and remember not everyone loves “the reds”?
Bayern or Madrid, has to be and sadly Alonso to the Dippers. He said he's taking a year out regardless & will consider his options going forward.
However he's promised if he does return to football, he'll never manage another PL side.
He didn’t seem overly enthusiastic when they asked him earlier. As long as it not Alonso, that would not be good.
Interesting now with Pep, Klopp was a cnut but Pep enjoyed the challenge.
I think he would go to the Dippers rather than BayernHe didn’t seem overly enthusiastic when they asked him earlier.
He’s had the one big advantage over everyone else in not having to face himself in each of those seasons.Has he blamed it on the grass being too long yet?
In all seriousness, to hear Pep’s closest competitor of recent years talk about the fact he’s exhausted and he’s run out of steam makes you appreciate Pep even more. The man has lived and breathed City for seven whole years non-stop and unlike Liverpool we’ve competed at the very top that whole time. No “seasons off”, no “settling for this year”, just excellence every single year.
Already in the Liverpool thread. Why is there a thread about Klopp and Liverpool in the main forum ?
I feel sick.
Needs moving to the general football forum.
We have to respect ten hag ………
