Went to a do not long back in an old working man's club. I know a lad who's mad into the scene who's 30 years older than me, so went down to see him there.

Like walking back into a time warp on the way in. Fucking lovely people though and not one knobhead, it was a nice night and reminded me of when my grandparents used to take me down the club as a kid.

I must go back to another night soon, I'm a useless dancer though.

The Ronettes song is called Here I Sit & came out on a Kent CD so I presume it was 1st played at the 100 Club. I think it was written by Phil Spector, inspired, if you believe these sort of things, by graffiti on a bog wall!
