To be honest, watching that back, that’s an outrageously good goal kick tactic by Brentford. Can’t be offside from a goal kick, so they stand offside, use Toney as a decoy target man, he holds off the defender, allowing it to go straight through. They perfectly exploited the fact we are a high risk team, defending with fewer numbers. We should do better of course, but the replay showed it’s very very well executed by Brentford to be fair.
