Agree. He wasn`t there to look for any attention but tried to let the game flow with some good old fashioned tackles going in. Very good in my opinion.That ref tonight best ref for a long lime. Well done to him

City do exactly the same thing to every team that comes to the Etihad. They only shown a montage of City goals when they win.

I was watching Phil in the build up a good few mins before the cross and the goal came - he was constantly looking for space and demanding the ball in a tight area - he then drifts into the box -Our 2nd goal was a terrific move. Reminded me of Gundogs 44 pass goal against utd. Phil is superb in the middle
Was pleased when Maupay went off. It didn't feel like we ever got to grips with his and Toney's movement.
Think that is our most convincing win against Brentford since they came up. Onwards to Saturday, could be top by 3pm

I'm pretty sure it was noted during David's time here and where he used to operate on the pitch that referees used to stand infront of him in his most influential positions on the pitch.

Not belittling. I was amazed they’d spend money on a professional video to jeer the crowd that was ONLY about the game they scored the extra extra time winner.
Do they do this for every club they play and scored a winner against?
It just struck me as being a bit odd and pathetic. Surely have something generic.

Suppose that results in 10x 1-0 defeats......Great result and what a performance by Phil.
The number of goals we are conceding is a bit of a concern - 25 already this season. In the last few seasons we have been tighter defensively. Goals conceded in previous seasons under Pep.

If we can start defending better then I think we will win the league. Should be targeting conceding no more than ten more in our remaining 16 games.
