Horrible half. What puzzles me is why when Phil comes off a hattrick and motm a few days ago playing in the middle, today without KDB, he is stuck on the wing?

Can we call a spade a spade? The reasons Pep gives for not playing Phil centrally also apply to Alvarez, except Phil is far more talented. It's clear, at least to me, that Pep is trying to keep him happy, and there was some truth to the rumors in the summer that he wasn't satisfied with his minutes.

If Phil was bought for 100M like Grealish for example, would he be shoehorned out wide, given his form through the middle? Of course not.

Whenever I watched Nunes for Wolves and Sporting he looked like he had a bit about him, however for City he looks completely out of his depth. I’ll never get the love affair for Alvarez either I am honest, unfortunately I will always compare him to Tevez and Aguero.

Yes at Wolves he looked a decent player. Because teams don't play as compact against Wolves, as they do when they face us.

He should be running the show against teams like Everton.

Everton are not the worst team , they are just very well organised and have shown some ambition when they can get hold of the ball , agree about Foden he is playing out of his skin so we move him wide to accomodate Nunes , doesnt make sense.

Need KdB and Bernardo on for creativity. And Foden in the middle.
