You could see after 3 minutes it was going to be a bit of a slog until we got a breakthrough. The subs made a difference and Erling showed why he's priceless.

Lord knows how Everton are planning a bigger stadium. More people want to pay to watch that? Time wasting from the beginning. I don't expect teams to go toe to toe with us but they're pathetic

Wasn't a classic performance, they were set up to frustrate us and they did, hardly a surprise from a dyche team.

As called at half time - standard uninspiring 2-0 win and a match thread full of posters embarrassing themselves.

No one was embarrassed, the goals came after Nunes was hooked and KDB was introduced.

I feel like we somewhat got away with one there. Our poor performance started with the team line up. What a boost it must give the opposition to see KDB on the bench and the guy that just scored a hat-trick pushed wide to accommodate Nunes.

That being said, as bad as we were, we were still miles better than them.

Stay compact, time waste, fake injuries, prevent the opponent from building any rhythm, then after having kept the score down, get all the wasted time at the end of the game to your advantage. What a tactic, Dyche !

Time wasting is added on at the end. I have no problem with that. It's to no teams advantage, it's just playing the time that would have been played anyway.

Scruffy. A game unlikely to be remembered by anyone but 3 points and a clean sheet is a bonus. Alvarez looked off it and Doku, although threatening still needs to find a killer pass. Onwards and upwards.

After City scored their first, not a singe Everton player went down injured. I can't explain it.

Not a great watch especially first 65 mins, but Pep changed it up and brought on our creative players and in the end 3 points. The title bandwagon rolls on.

Very impressed with that Branthwaite, and a bad games for 2/3 players to have a poor performance against an Everton team with a strong defensive gameplan.

But patience is key in these games. Haaland is inevitable.
