Instant football experts - JUST ADD WATER galore in here today LOL.

FFS Everton are the 4th best defensive side in the league and he did exactly what Pep wanted but Everton gameplan didn't leave openings.

It was a bit like Pep was experimenting.. like playing Bernardo at left back.. but there's a use for Nunes in the team.. just not sure where he played today was his best position but Pep will figure it out.

He also needs to bulk up a bit. But he did allow us to rest KDB and didn't make mistakes. Huge credit where its due.

Yes, Pep makes panic buys. ffs.

LaLiga doesnt have £20 to put together, they wont be signing anyone and Nunes is going nowhere.

Would have helped if anyone bothered to play the pass. He made great runs several times and everyone had their head up their arse.

Not saying I disagree that it was a panic buy, but I'm not convinced Paqueta is one of the top 10 midfielders in Europe.

Rodri is clearly the main man, we just need one or two around him to support.

Personally I think Nunes can still do that but he'll have to be better than today.

Pep has said good words about him this week, but we need to see it translated very soon.

Without even commenting on the Nunes aspect of the post, Lewis isn’t a Top 10 midfielder, nor is Kovacic or Akanji or Stones!

Nunes has shown what he can do. Like most new players, he’s going to need some time, but he’s got everything needed to be successful at City!

Surprise surprise, Akanji and Stones are not top 10 midfielders? I could've sworn they were defenders.

Rico Lewis is 19 and Kovacic is a 30yr old squad player.
 
Still don't know why we signed him. What's even stranger is Pep playing him vs a side that he knew would put 11 men behind the ball. On the rare occasions Nunes has looked decent it has been when he has space to run into not vs low blocks like today. And all this at the expense of Phil who was pushed out wide again
