PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Whilst there have been a few encouraging noises recently, it’s far too premature to talk about charges being dropped, a PL climb down etc imo. There’s still a long way to go in the process, and I doubt we’ll hear anything concrete for months, possibly even until next year.

I'm with you on this, but then I'm an old school City fan who always feared there was a disaster around the corner and that was often the case. As a result we have the football version of PTSD and no amount of recent success will fully erase that.

That being said we might be pleasantly surprised with our latest angst. We are the best club in the world, the most entertaining with the most charismatic manager and players. We have provided the premier league with two of the best last day finishes ever. Our worldwide popularity is growing at a phenomenal rate as a result. Dragging out this stench of corruption, which Is what's alleged, against the leagues best club, is damaging their brand whether they want to admit that or not. It's also put the spotlight on their ridiculous ffp rules and fans of other clubs have at long last woken up to their implications. It's in everyone's best interest to get this finished, not least the premier league's.

It must be horrible being you. Sucking the joy out of everything as a default setting. Were you related to that bloke at Maine Road who had ‘The end is nigh’ sandwich board?

Your first line is totally on the money.
The cartel probably could have accepted -at a push- another US takeover, but this was Johnny Arab, from a country where they have 10 wives and ride around on camels all day.
Damned uncivilised the lot of ‘em, don‘t know their place, but if we give him the benefit of our advice he’ll probably bugger off back to where he came from.
Possibly, amongst many chronic misjudgments (happily for us) the biggest mistake they as a group made.

Could never be doing with that optimistic twat. He was always promising it was going to end yet we had to continue watching shite

I'm thinking the cartel are beginning to go their separate ways.
They've tried everything to destroy us and we continue to get stronger and the gap gets bigger.
Scruffy Jim has got his foot in the door at the rags and it's looking like he's gonna try and sort that shit show out.
Pep has ground down Klopp and FSG are gonna have to invest heavily on and off the pitch to stay around.
Arsenal appear quiet but maybe their hoping for a positive outcome for them as they appear to be well represented on the IC.
Then there's the advent of the IR, their all probable scurrying to get their own house's in order.
With the Commons committee telling the PL they don't know what their doing, the cartel are scattering and gonna let Masters carry the can.
Also where's that rag Alison Britten in all this.

It definitely appears that Scruffy Jim is trying to build bridges with City……

I’d prefer them to go & fuck themselves.

You haven’t answered his question…
Sorry, yes he was my great uncle. He actually left me the sign in his will, which I've now adapted and will bring to tomorrow's game.

Poor Dicky Disasters, his dream job is turning into a nightmare. His probs in bed now with his Aston Villa jimjams on, reading the John Stonehouse biography and thinking "oh mummy, if only I stayed in my middle management Marketing role and not listened to that little twat Levy"....As well as his little City dilemma, it looks like a HUGE problem is waiting his executive excellence. It seems Everton and 777 partners are now in some kind of deadly embrace, where Everton could go wallop without 777 and 777 could go wallop without approval of the EFC purchase by Dickie. However 777 are in BIG trouble, they have just sacked the CFO, if the content in here is accurate it's looking like an absolute shit show. How could this happen in a league that is overflowing with money .....

Scruffy Jim may be looking to play at the Etihad while Old Trafford is rebuilt?

Their only other options will be Liverpool (best of luck there?) or Everton (more plausible). That is unless they make the logical move and use Wembley!
