He’ll get better than this. Clearly struggling after 18 months not playing but you don’t stop knowing how to be a footballer at 28.

He’ll keep playing because he’s West Ham’s highest earner and Moyes requested him personally, so he’s got 3 months to remember how to play.
 
Earlier in this thread I conceded that I was harsh to call him crap, despite never thinking he was anywhere near good enough for us. I now wish to revisit my concession, which on balance was rash. He is in fact crap, actually really shite, and a right melt to boot. Sadly we will be saddled with this twat until his contract expires. Who the fuck will want him? Also, the cheeky twat blames Pep and runs to his Mum. Hardly an elite athlete.
 
He's gonna be finding himself in Turkey at this rate and it won't be for his hair.
 
His decision to stay and fight for his place last summer is looking very naive, although I respect the commitment. Plenty were interested and he could have bedded in during pre-season and had plenty of chances to find some form and confidence.
