Is it just me, or do others also see the pink octopus from The Mighty Boosh shouting "This is an outrage!" whenever they see the name Tony Harrington* on the officials list? :)
EVERYTHING is analysed in detail, including the referee.Weve had this guy a few times and he lets a lot go and does very little to prevent timewasting. Wouldnt be surprised if opposition managers tell their players they can get stuck in and waste time when they see him selected for the game against us.
will be interested to how he refs other games
Anybody has the video of that late penalty shout? People are saying we handled the ball first.
The stoppage time one wasn’t seen by the ref and VAR didn’t think it was a clear and obvious error, which can be debated.Yesterday's were not 50/50. Stoppage time and Walker penalties were at worst 75/25; Caicedo's stamp (and subsequent numerous fouls when on yellow) should have been stonewall. And 4 mins of stoppage time after 10 against Everton? You are clearly set on being a contrarion for the sake of it.
That, compared to the lack of action against Chelsea players shows the bias/corruption.Meanwhile slabhead and casameiro could and should have been double yellow carded just got subbed at half time
Not sure you've thought this through. What happens if a team is losing and their goalkeeper wastes time with the goal kicks so that more time is added on, giving them a better chance to get an equaliser?Should bring in a new rule that any goalie who take longer that 10 seconds to kick the ball they'll be an extra 1 minute added
Which clearly wasn’t done. The whole thing booking a goalkeeper is pointless in the first or last minute ,when have you ever seen a goalkeeper sent off for 2 yellows time wasting?? The only punishment is for the ref to make it perfectly clear he's adding the time on.
The media are complicit i whater the fuck the PiGMOL/PL are serving up.That, compared to the lack of action against Chelsea players shows the bias/corruption.
Some dim bastard from the bbc said about Casimero it was because the 2 fouls were too close together, that's why he didn't get a second yellow. Corruption in plain sight.
I’m of the opposite opinion, that it’s the broadcasters who have the say. After all, it’s them that pay the big bucks. The media are complicit i whater the fuck the PiGMOL/PL are serving up.
I've said as much on another thread, but I'm almost certain that toeing the PL party line is a condition of being able to show live matches and highlights.
I've joked about that for years.I’m of the opposite opinion, that it’s the broadcasters who have the say. After all, it’s them that pay the big bucks.
Why else but only them have a direct feed to the background machinations of the PL
Sorry bud these are flat earth arguments. The stoppage time one wasn’t seen by the ref and VAR didn’t think it was a clear and obvious error, which can be debated.
The Walker one was a foul the other way.
Everton had lots of injury stoppages on top of Pickford wasting time, hence more time was added on.
I don’t agree with you, therefore I’m being contrarian. Your opinion. Not correct, but you’re allowed it.
I agree , ref got that one rightMaybe - but I don't think it's a penalty.
Imagine Walker as the defender, and Sterling the attacker. You'd 100% expect a foul against Walker.
Walker is slightly behind Sterling, he's the one further from the ball, stretches, isn't close to getting a touch on the ball, and trips Sterling.
but had it been dippers or the rags what would the ref do.and var not clear and obvious with neville doing his ooooo theres contactI agree , ref got that one right
I dont disagree with you, but i think walker initiated the contact and caught sterlings legs but yes, all we want is a level playing field.but had it been dippers or the rags what would the ref do.and var not clear and obvious with neville doing his ooooo theres contact
You watch the rules get tightened up next weekend and we'll get a penalty awarded against us for far less. That usually how these things pan out.I dont disagree with you, but i think walker initiated the contact and caught sterlings legs but yes, all we want is a level playing field.
The dias one though… it should have been given for any 3 of the fouls, the elbow, the hand ball or the shirt pull.
The handball could be argued about but If the shirt pull wasnt clear n obvious im not sure what is.
With Sky, perhaps that is the case, but the BBC (and others) are a different matter entirely. They shy away from contentious incidents every fcuking week in their highlights packages. GAME CHANGING incidents that just 'never happened'. It's almost inexplicable unless you consider it's a deliberate effort to control the narrative.I’m of the opposite opinion, that it’s the broadcasters who have the say. After all, it’s them that pay the big bucks.
