I've just watched him lose the ball from a uncontested throw in because his touch was so poor. For me it's by far the biggest issue with his play.

No. He’s coming in for a bit of flak at the moment and he’s certainly not going to win over many whilst he’s playing in the position he is and not covering himself in glory.
He’s probably way ahead of where many expected him to be at this point and that probably works against him.
He’ll be here next season no doubt.
 
Very useful player to have and very glad he's with us but I do think he could do with being on the bench for a few games at the moment..

Can never fault his effort at all though!

I like him as a player, but his ball-striking is wildly overrated. He scored a stunner versus Fulham, but other than that, I always find myself expecting it to go straight to the keeper or wide when he's winding up to shoot versus KDB and Foden, who almost have that 'effortless' power.
 
Ran his bollocks off. I imagine peps delighted with him but he's out of form and I dont think his work rate is enough to offset the lack of midfield balance we have when he plays.

hes started every prem game this seaosn. Time for a spell on the bench and a supersub role.

cant fault his attitude though.
 
Stop blaming him for pep playing him out of position. He works his bollocks off, does the best he can and regularly ends up contributing. As he did again tonight.

I'm in the camp of he shouldn't be in midfield and you can't play him and kdb and haaland but it's pep that's playing him there.
