Eminently so. In the 21/22 run in our GD was lagging behind theirs slightly until we banged in 14 goals in 3 games against Watford Leeds and NewcastleThey still had a jolt and a better side would have made them more uncomforable for longer. Making up the 6 goals is still doable.
They may get very giddy and want to win both and lose focus. They may burn themselves out in trying to establish a significant lead. We are still breathing down their necks along with Arsenal. PGMOL can only get Liverpool so far.If they are leading the title race by the time the europa league game comes along I expect them to play a weakened side in that comp.

IIRC, we narrowly failed to go up the season after the Luton/Pleat debacle. Also there was the year that Spurs beat us to the CL.I’m pretty sure you can also include all the contested promotions since 1966. Don’t think we ever faltered when we were in the hunt at the business end of the season.

Winning PL or CL equals a season that most fans can only ever dream of. Either one would satisfy me and anything on top would be a bonus. Just lifting the FA Cup is a lot better than nothing but would still feel anticlimactic and (depending how close we come in the others) possibly agonising!

It all comes down to Anfield away IMO. Win there and it's ours, lose there and I suspect it probably isn't.
