Fair fucks to them. Can’t stand them but to win a final with more or less their B team is to be respected. Say what you like about klopp but the mentality he instills on his players is impressive. Even with the amount of first teamers out they still play the same way.

They were with their A defensive players, including the DM, plus Diaz. TAA wasn't there but he isn't renowned for his defensive skills. Any of the starting XI has featured in big games this season.

Still, it's impressive indeed that they were the better team after subbing in several youngsters. Liverpool thrive in that underdog role. They love to be the underdogs.

On a side note, Palmer was a disappointment. Sterling too.

Even if they do the best ever quadruple, arf, it will never better the TREBLE in 1 season, and 5 trophies in 1 year.

Of course, scousers being Scousers, they will convince themselves it is better. And the football media will continue that narrative, which will make them even more delusional and convinced.
 
Big congrats to Liverpool and Mr Klopp

Fantastic achievement considering they had a lot of kids on the pitch and a diminished squad. Fantastic to see young kids coming through a top heritage club and lifting a trophy, that's what football is about. Sure its not the biggest trophy in football but its a major trophy lifted by worthy winners.
