He’d score 2/3 a game if teams set up like Luton did last night against us. Doubt we’ll see that kind of space for him again this season. Apart from maybe last 10 minutes if a team is 1 behind against us.

Agreed that it'll be rare, bit I think we can all agree that there are moments in every game, where the ball can be played quicker and more directly into Haaland, or into space for him to run onto.

Defenders hate having to run in behind, and it gives them something else to think about.

Either way it's good to see him with fire back inside.

good to see him more involved & much more active...you could even find him sometimes on the right wing...the one pass to KDB (should have scored) was outstanding (i believe it was around 4:2, through the legs of the defender from rw/midfield half space)....gained confidence perhaps at the right moment of the season

What a performance. Hold up play was excellent and 5 goals. Perfection.

it was interesting to see us play to his strengths last night. Direct from Ortega so he could contest the long ball. Sometimes we lost it, sometimes it worked, as in his second. Thought his hold up play was so much better last night. Really great to watch.
