PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Your point about sponsorship is valid and it is one I have said before made me uneasy at first, being English and liking fair play and equality and all that shit. But then I remembered the advantages the other leading clubs exploited remorselessly when they had the chance, and any sympathy evaporates. It's just a fact that our Dad is bigger than their Dad now.

They have to suck it up now, stop spending all their time trying to stop us and actually improve themselves to compete better.
My view is that if a fan of anyone outside the rich six argues that football is messed up, and they can't compete, I'm happy to agree. I acknowledge we're now in a privileged position and part of the problem.

United, Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea fans can bleat away all they like.

I dont understand it. Chelsea also failed UEFA ffp at the same time as utd. The pl announce that it would be interesting Chelsea. All quite on utd.
Initially the new owners of Chelsea owned up to their accounts not being quite right - but I believe in a relatively minor way, which I think might have been dealt with around the same time as United's issues.

The PL are investigating Chelsea because of a leak of bank records which showed that Abramovitch was making secret payments entirely off the books - essentially doing what we're accused of. Much more serious.

A few weeks go when Wolves “surprisingly“ sided with the cartel on related party sponsorship I said I wonder what they have been offered in return….well we now know, also released on a day when it’s not going to gather much interest i.e. a full fixture list…

I wasn't suggesting he was corrupt but I did say in my post that his disposition to the club might not be good as he has been involved in a high profile case against us. It's pure guesswork on your part that he may have advised UEFA that their case was very weak.
Maybe it came across wrongly. I didn't mean anything by it. Sorry! Of course it is a guess. My point is don't waste your energy worrying about it. He isn't going to go on a campaign vs City and nor could he

So Wolves survived an FFP sanctioned points deduction by the skin of their teeth in no small part to MCFC purchasing Nunes, we are Mother Teresa fc, helping out other clubs in their hour of need. Noddy Holder and Steve Edge can thank us later
Nunes wasn’t in the 2022/23 accounts as he didn’t sign until August Seems they were £30m within the allowed lossesIMG_2741.jpeg

All clubs including city only care about themselves. Billionaire owners bitch about multi billionaires and so on and so forth.

City have a top class team in Mansour, Khaldoon, Txiki, Pep and the rest to take on any sporting institution. We currently sit with all the trophies as proof.

The rest can moan all they want. Someone has to be king.

I still dont get why PL is pushing to hand out two punishment to Everton in one season.
if its looking at a 3 year cycle, than the 3 season up to 21/22 should have been handed out last season.
next 3 year cycle up to 22/23 should be handed out this season.

as I understand both of these periods are being handed out in one season for Everton, which is strange.

PL agreed with you so they speeded the process to ensure the punishment would be handed over as soon as possible Unfortunately that means that for one occasion only there are 2 in 1
New regs
Under Rule E.48 clubs who are forecasting losses must file audited accounts to the Premier League by December 31 rather than the standard March 31 deadline.

The new regulation is an attempt by the Premier League to ensure that any disciplinary cases arising from alleged breaches of FFP rules are dealt with before the end of the same season

Apparently the Forest case is being heard next week, with a decision in April and the appeal not finalised until after the season ends.

Not sure where Everton fits in.

Absolute shambles.
lol bunch of amateurs.

They thought they could come after City hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

All this puffing and farting
Luton got docked 30 points at one stage

Why can't they advise the penalties at the start of a season.
