When they were dominating in the 90s and 00s and we were flirting between mid table prem and yo-yoing from the championship, I don’t think the gap in quality was as big as it is now.

And as long as Pep is here and Onana is playing for them, that gap will get bigger.

To be fair if the game ended on 80 mins then that was a good performance*.

*If you consider anything but defeat a victory and are happy to be totally outplayed. Same approach a lower league side might take in a cup match.

Which I don't see happening. With their poor goal difference they are effectively 12 point off 4th with 11 games to play. Also with them being 6th they need to outperform 2 teams to make it to 4th. Odds range from 16/1 to 20/1 for them to make the top 4.
