Let’s unpack that statement, basically a fan base that only supports Liverpool just because of how successful they were in the 70s and 80s. Who don’t have any geographical connection to the city of Liverpool but instead reside in smack dens in Rhyl, half and half rag country in places like Warrington, Chester etc not to mention most of Scandinavia. Their insecurities about life and wanting to take shortcuts to bask in their beloved Cultist fc’s success means more to them than it does to us who’ve followed City in the 3rd tier, seen various relegations and promotions to see the club where it is today as world champions. This means more to them than it does to us apparently, yeah alright.

Why are the scousers so angry all the time?
I just don’t get it, they are just pure hate filled people who seem to have a gripe with everything and everyone.
All the jokes about the dole stealing etc but there are plenty of places in the uk similar but this lot are on a different scale.

All this Scouse not English bullshit ok fine but why hate everyone?

Apologies to any rational scousers but they don’t do you any favours.

I doubt they’ll ever change.

I understand where Liverpool are coming from. Just like them with those comments, I can say finishing 2nd last season means more than whatever Man City have done. Me and every other Arsenal fan will cherish that moment /Satire

Like their team and supporters showed respect for the 39 people killed at Heysel by having a parade on the anniversary of that tragedy. A tragedy their supporters had a massive part to play in but they will never admit it.

Ashamed of nothing, offended by everything should be their motto, not this means more.

I like this gem from RAWK, its...well, sort of....

Boy oh boy did this, by all standards fairly mild, true and balanced statement ruffle their precious, well combed feathers. The veneer is so thin you can polish it into a lens and use it to peer into their rotten core. The club protests innocence and sues anyone who dares to question it, while at the same time refusing to give evidence, stalling procedures and continuing to pump unwarranted funds. The players hate reminding they took money where they could have taken class and culture at another club. The manager is the worst of them all, sitting at the core of it all, loving the real-world game of Football manager he's playing, hating any reminders that maybe, just maybe he isn't as good as he would be without the safety blanket of unlimited funds.

Oh boy have they jumped on this, and all it took was one gentle knock on the shell of their structure to create this unbearable noise within they need to respond to. Of course it did because their structure is hollow, you knock and the echo reminds you of the fact its hollow.

Dunno why but I get the image of some pathetic, spotty little undergrad sat alone in a dark room in the halls of residence at Aberystwyth Uni or other such second rate educational establishment

CLASS? What from a club and supporters that has always denied their involvement on the death of 39 Juventus supporters and also their involvement in another tragedy that we must not utter the name of. Have we sued anybody questioning our innocence? I think they need to sit down in a room of mirrors and have a good look at themselves before making such a ridiculous statement.

Regardless of my thoughts on Liverpool FC . And setting aside some of his antics on the touchline, Klopp is an excellent manager, 2nd only to Pep in the world IMHO. The PL will be a slightly lesser place without him in it. Nice to hear complimentary words from Klopp and Pep today, class as always from Pep.
