Some of our short passing has been poor and Rodri of all people needs to sharpen up a bit.

Pretty fantastic first half performance all things considered.

We have created more, we looked dangerous on the break, we look more likely to score, we've restricted them to one or two half chances in front of the kop. A second goal looks like it kills it. Would like for us to put our foot on the ball a bit more, and both Alvarez especially and Foden need to keep the ball better when it comes out to them.

Good first half, we deserve a two goal lead on the balance of play.

Alvarez has played quite well in the main but that’s now too often he’s given the ball away unnecessarily. Severely compounded by leading to Rodri’s booking which puts him under the microscope.

These cunts are dangerous on the attack, we need to keep things tight and look to be ruthless on the break.
