His Dad was a big Liverpool fan, fair play to them to granting his wishes.rivalry aside.I don't remember him being their manager or playing for them strangely.

come on. Sven said he wished he would have managed Liverpool, they’ve done the right thing and fair play to them. A box is ticked for him before he dies, I hate them but well done to them for this.Doesn't stop them jumping on the bandwagon
I give them credit for it but it still doesn't stop me being a tad cynical about the club.come on. Sven said he wished he would have managed Liverpool, they’ve done the right thing and fair play to them. A box is ticked for him before he dies, I hate them but well done to them for this.
Nothing to be cynical about here. In his interview revealing his illness and prognosis, he said one of his regrets was never managing Liverpool. His dad, who is still alive, supports them as does Sven.I give them credit for it but it still doesn't stop me being a tad cynical about the club.
I remember one of the last games at Maine Rd Uwe Rosler had been diagnosed with Cancer and his chant was belted out around the stadium despite him leaving us at least half a decade prior. I doubt if half the crowd at the Etihad even know Sven managed us, not a single mention from the club or chant from the crowd since this awful news broke. " Sven Goran Eriksson, Seven Goran Eriksson" a small gesture would mean so much.
As I said it was a brilliant gesture by Liverpool Football ClubNothing to be cynical about here. In his interview revealing his illness and prognosis, he said one of his regrets was never managing Liverpool. His dad, who is still alive, supports them as does Sven.
He asked, they answered. He dies with his wish granted.
We all have to go at some point but Sven-Goran Eriksson is making sure he goes in the absolute best way possible This is wonderful to see!
Sven-Goran Eriksson close to tears as he’s given incredibly emotional tribute by former club on his return amid cancer battle.

Absolutely amazing, met him a few times, absolute gentlemanWow that was incredibly moving. One of the most beautiful tributes I have seen.
Unfortunately I couldn’t quite see it clearly as I was peeling the onions in the kitchen at the time.
Wouldnt it be amazing if we could get him back for a game.
Simply has to happen at one of the final 2 home games, I can’t believe there’s not been more of a club tribute already (considering all the content & media teams we have), come on city make it happenWe've got to get him back for the West Ham game, especially considering who his first City game was against.
Present the trophy if we win it.Simply has to happen at one of the final 2 home games, I can’t believe there’s not been more of a club tribute already (considering all the content & media teams we have), come on city make it happen
Khaldoon probably still working out how much to charge himPresent the trophy if we win it.
Guest of honour on the pitch if we don't.
Please try City.
Unnecessary !!Khaldoon probably still working out how much to charge him
