It's a crap "survey" anyway as it's just 1,200 out of 2,000 people polled with a loaded, simplistic question. You'd maybe get similar figures if asked about China and yet if asked how many of their personal possessions come from there they wouldn't have a clue. And if they're that unhappy about the UAE then they'd really be fuming about China if they had the foggiest.
 
It might just be me, but this looks like the thumb on her left hand is on the wrong side. I can't get my left hand to bend like that and I've been sticking 2 fingers up at rags fans for a lot longer than her! Not like the FA to make up charges based on flimsy evidence. 1000004871.png

You appear to be using a rather immature approach to this thread which is now appearing to consume you.

You used the description 'pre historic', mistakenly
or otherwise.

'Pre' means before.... and 'historic' relates to something from a past culture ....my reference to 'Hanging,Beheading etc refers to our ancient laws & practices.

The UAEs ancient laws and practices have also changed and westernised, which is not surprising as the union is not yet 100 years old.

Crime in the UAE is less than 1% per capita.

This is largely due to to a few primary laws which act as the 'Ten Commandments' for a population of circa 3.5 million....ie NO DRUNK DRIVING

Transgression leads to immediate & punitive sanctions....loss of license,
financial penalty,prison,visa restrictions.

In the major commercial and leisure districts there is no fighting, pissing in the street,shagging in doorways, broken glass, litter or chewing gum on walkways.

The accepted laws influence people's behaviour and respect for fellow residents and workers.

Life is peaceful and lawful.

The UK, by comparison, is corrupted, broken beyond repair and has much to learn from a much more enlightened & inclusive jurisdiction.

I'm out of this thread now because my time is too valuable to waste on exchanges with posters with little knowledge of the subject matter.

If you're continuing, you may like to research the matter more thoroughly.

Genuinely thought I'd wandered into Off Topic, which is an area I avoid like a Manyoo game on the telly.
 
Someone just genuinely described the UAE as enlightened and I think that's my cue to avoid this thread until judgement day.
 
The problem with this thread is that there is absolutely no substantive news to comment on. We were charged last year, we might get to know of the hearing date by June and then it will be next year to get the judgement. And that's it. So the void is mainly filled with people raging about Harris, Tiffin et al and what rival fans post about us.

Hence why I suggested we change the direction of the thread to a workable alternative to FFP/PSR.

There're been a few brilliant suggestions so far, but they've been lost in a sea of banality & pedantic bickering.

We need to sum up where we're up to, & commence the process of plotting a viable way forward for football finance.

Maybe another thread dedicated to a FFP/PSR alternative is needed to give us something else to focus on?
