Fucking hell we're still in the mix of 3 competitions and fanny wipes are crying tonight.
Intensity after the international break was always going to be an issue in this game and yet we gave it all out there today.
28% possession from Arsenal was only a couple of % more than what the rags had against us and yet they'll get all the plaudits tonight.
Beat Villa and keep turning the screw on those 2 above us and let's see where it gets us.

We target and chase Bellingham our first choice from last year into summer but in the end he choose Madrid over us.

It looked like that was always going to be the way, the Paquetta deal was the one that was out of our control and it's cost us, Nunes a poor replacement

We played well enough but we're lacking. Lewis, Doku, even Grealish are not good enough to make us better when they come on.

Nonetheless we had arsenal pinned back and if lfc slip up we are ready to fight again. Some players need to step up though. And foden needs his form back.

Lewis and Grealish made us miles better. Our problems are further forward.

Doku should not be anywhere near this team. He’s Garnacho standard, should be at Watford. Fucking Forrest Gump

Weve lost 20-25 goals from gundo and mahrez and then palmer has gone to chelsea and will end up on 20+.

Theres only really foden whos stepped up and scored big goals.

We need to buy a top wide forward who scores goals.

We bought in a young wide player to replace Mahrez and then we realised he’s better on the left than right and then it was back to Foden on the winger shifts because Bernardo was needed in the middle as we lost Gundogan and neither Kova nor Nunes possess that skillset… it is quite a story!

Anyway, we’ll fix it in the summer hopefully. Hope to end the season on a strong note.

Given how many Arsenal have scored recently then a clean sheet with such a patched up defence is not bad even given their lack of ambition.
Hoping for a big performance against Villa on Wednesday.
