I bet we can pretty much outspend everyone if we want to this summer.

The ffp rules have played right into our hands. Plenty of clubs are struggling to balance the book's. City aren't one of them.

Yes maybe but this is Peps City. We weren’t terrible today. We were up against a top side. Hopefully we can push on starting Wednesday. Ferals will have to earn their title for bingo. Makes me sick just thinking about it.
 
We didn’t play great today but all is not lost. We have to beat Villa on Wednesday that’s the main priority now. Surprised Alvarez didn’t come on today hopefully he starts Wednesday.
 
Disapointing result against the bus parking gooners. Haven't won against any of our rivals this year. Still a long way to go but feels like 4 in a row may just elude us. Not our usual free flowing high scoring City this season. Need Walker, Stones and a fit Grealish back and firing for the business end of the season.

Pep is very unforgiving when it comes to the younger players. Bobb didn’t play that well the last time he started and I think he was hooked. Not been seen since. He has done the same with all young players coming through. He did it with Foden too for a couple of years or so.

I think we need to play Nunes/Bobb/Doku/Alvaeez etc in the games coming up. The league doesn’t need to be our main priority. We can still win games with these lads in the side. Not all at once but maybe 2 out of 4 of them in the next couple of games.

We need to rotate as Real Madrid is a huge game. These lads might just get Haaland firing again. If he isn’t then I can’t see us winning that tie.

They also need game time before Chelsea in the cup as they may need to play a part in that.
 
I didn’t think it was a bad performance as such, we didn’t really give them a kick. They came to spoil the game and didn’t even do it with any grace. Constant feigning injury to break up any chance of momentum and time wasting from the first whistle. We’d be fucking livid if we played like that yet they celebrated like they’d won a trophy.

However, we aren’t going to win games unless we shoot. We let opportunities pass us by because they look afraid to be the one that has a go. Far too passive when we should be playing with freedom in and around their box. 12 shots, 1 on target is just not good enough.

We’re missing a couple of key players, of course, but the rest simply need to want it more!

Haaland looks like he’s staying in a marriage for the kids. We give him nothing and he’s giving us nothing. May as well play with 10 men. We either need to play to his strengths or not play him and play Alvarez, or the fucking tea lady if she suits our style better. He's a finisher (an exceptional one), not a footballer, so we need to give him chances to finish. This isn’t just based on today’s game.

Doku’s end product is woeful. Anyone have his address? I’d like to send him some studs for his boots. I don’t want to get on his back, but he spends half his time on his arse because he’s slipped over.

I’ve been critical of Gvardiol playing at left back, I don’t like him there and would like to see him in the middle but he was excellent today. Great performance, probably his best for us in my opinion. Thought Rico did well too, as did Bernardo as always.

Good to see Jack back again. Needs some more minutes in his legs and will hopefully contribute a lot in the run in.

Can’t win it every year, we might do it again but we’re going to do it the hard way if we do.

The bald twat in the middle not booking more of them for persistent fouling will have me scratching my head for a very long time. Not a single yellow for a foul (20 fouls).

On to the next one.
 
It was billed as their coming of age party. The day when they went toe to toe with us.
TV changed tack at full time. Plucky underdogs again. Christ they were shit.
Taylor allowing them to disrupt our play without sanction.
Don't get me wrong, we aren't as good as last season, but they have gone backwards.
The look on their faces at full time showed they got away with it.
