Has Lewis played himself into contention to be the starting RB these last few games? Feel like it's almost been a bit unfair how little he has played this season, he looks sharp and threatening

Apart from one break away we have played some nice football in and around the box.

Teams transitioning against us is the Achilles heel. Fernandinho would be great in this side. We don’t have players breaking it up by being sly.

Villa did it to at least 2 of our attacks.

Good half, good last effort from Alvarez..could have done with that a tiny breather - need to really concentrate first ten of second half - let one in early and it will be one up hill battle for us

If that challenge came at 89:00 it'd be a second yellow.

Refs need to stop trying to manage the experience and just adjudicate the match.

Especially when the other team’s tactics are based on the referee managing the game.

The problem is I have no doubt this is an intentional method of ‘levelling the playing field’ when you have mismatched sides like this.

This is a game where it is hard to put the finger on whether we are better without Haaland or if we would have been better with him.

Alvarez certainly helps more in the link up but then again he hasn't really done too well either. I think with Jack, Bernie, Foden and Doku on the pitch we will continue our good attacking play if Erling comes on in the 2nd half and hopefully he bags a few, he needs it.
