This fuckin ref rubbin Vincent Kompany's nose in it.
Sends the Burnley player off for a "fuck all" 2nd yellow and then Vinny, yet thinks Luis is alright trying to tackle someone from behind getting nowhere near the ball whilst already booked.
Corrupt **** this England, and that's why he's always on VAR for the dippers game.
ARRRGGGHH rant over.
C'mon City lets finish these please

We’re doing well enough, although if we were absolutely at our best we’d probably be 3 up now.

Doku is doing better on the right and he’s looking dangerous. Rico playing well and Grealish looks a lot better. Foden very quiet until his goal but hopefully that will put him in the mood now.

Rodri holding it all together in the middle and the only thing I’d change is Bernado - he looks knackered and I’d be tempted to put Kovacic on, or actually I’d like to see Nunes as I think his runs would really hurt them.

The ref is shit so we need another couple of goals to be certain.

Decent first half, them scoring killed our momentum for a bit, but a well deserved lead.

A much more fluid performance yet again showing small but key moments of slackness.

Superb from Rico, really dynamic on a good few occasions by Doku and Julian could/should have had one or two, maybe lacking match sharpness.

Great to have Jack back, makes you appreciate what he brings to the team when we’ve been without for a while.

We’ve moved them about the pitch well, think they will tire. Would love to see an early third so that we (the fans) can enjoy it and hopefully see a couple more.

Think we've played some good stuff that half. Good movement off the ball and both wingers have done well. Bernardo looks a bit tired and hasn't been as involved as I expected. I think he's better when playing a little deeper. Lewis has done well enough but moving up field left us short at the back (though not his fault). I don't think he's a RB and ultimately his position will be midfield I suspect.

We need to keep our focus at the back and keep doing the same going forward and we should win this.

Like many of our games this season we make it harder than it should be by wasting a few chances and the opposition scoring with their first and only shot, thankfully we scored the second but I think we need a third here.

Bloody good half that, some lovely football which deserve goals at the end of it.

Only worry is how quick they are onto the back line when we lose the ball on the edge of their box, and the one on one's from the long balls.

Has Lewis played himself into contention to be the starting RB these last few games? Feel like it's almost been a bit unfair how little he has played this season, he looks sharp and threatening
No, because John Stones will be back in the team soon. Rico can only play right back if he inverts into midfield. He is a midfielder not a defender. But he can’t invert into midfield if Stones is in the team as Stones is just better at it, unfortunately for Rico.

Generally a good half. No doubt that was a second yellow for Luiz, would be a clear yellow if any non-booked player made the challenge.

Think we're much sharper up front, and it's not just as simple as Haaland not being there, we're changing up the pace way more than we have been doing recently. Those quick little interchanges, absolutely no reason we couldn't do that with Haaland on the pitch. I think Lewis has had a lot to do with those moves, he's been very good.

Alvarez is a bit of a catch-22 player, he must be a pain to play against for a defender, he's constantly moving and constantly closing down. He just lacks a bit of composure sometimes. Will come with age I think. Grealish and Doku both doing a good job on their respective wings, getting in behind.

Foden and Bernardo look like they're just missing a killer instinct. So many nearly moments.

Goal Difference matters, we should go out with the intention to bag another couple at least.

I love Akanji, but my biggest criticism of him is his mentality. He's far too lacklustre on their goal. Everyone is blaming Dias, but it's a perfect assist because he's completely unbothered by Akanji.
