That’s my choice, hotels are a bit pricey, had to settle for one in Ealing for £400 with brekkie for 3 of us, 3 miles from Wembley so taxis aren’t too bad, and near tube for central London

It’s a pretty select group of referees who share around virtually all the big games these days. So if you take out Taylor, Oliver, Pawson and Tierney, there’s not an awful lot left for them to choose from.

I stayed over on the Friday and got there dead early and I was stood half way up Wembley way pissed as fuck for a good hour waving my city flags at any of the cunts who’d look at me. Barely heard a peep out of any of em
City fans arrived later on the whole, much noisier and much drunker
That was due to everyone travelling by road. The police kept a good lid on it. Even then we saw a punch up at our stop on the way home.

It's a fucker not knowing. I'd say as they want maximum publicity it's more than likely they'll strike that weekend. It's also a bank holiday so I'd say it's odds on. The bank holiday is another problem as the train companies use them to do engineering works. If they are running they'll be rammed with normal people going away for the long weekend too.
