Players who might improve us

Leon Bailey. Shades of Mahrez and can play on both sides (but primarily on the right). Currently on 27 G&A in all competitions, 0.88 per 90. A lot less injury prone than Neto and IMO a much better player than Olise. Could probably go straight into the starting 11 on the right, with Bernardo leaving and Foden playing in midfield

I wouldn't say Leon Bailey would improve us but he would provide us with something different to what we have got (barring Jeremy Doku)

Hey Ray, who do you think is good enough for us?
Can you give me the best starting 11, with back ups for each position, you would assemble for this City team. You can pick any player you want currently playing football.

The Muisala and Wirtz for starters but they are currently un-available. Vinicius Jnr again is unattainable but again would provide us something different to what we have got but there is still room for improvement. Although Bailey is decent he isn't better than what we have got.

We should be ruthless fuckers and do what Bayern does, and United used to do. Do everything to unsettle Ødegaard to come and play with his mate in a better team.

Weaken one of our currently biggest rivals while strenghtening with the excact profile we need in our midfield.

Unrealistic but more unrealistic transfers have happened

Being ruthless is unsettling Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern and the top 6 in the premier league. Ruthless is coming for whomever and whoever we want to, no matter the club and player. Unfortunately, we do not have that in our locker. We are too nice, we are too respectful whilst being disrespected. To have a death Grib on the Premier League and Champions League, we need to be ruthless, not nice.

Odergaard is good but not enough to break the bank for and the days of poaching Arsenal's better players is probably over.

Get the FFP charges off our plates and perhaps we will start doing just that. But then again; as highly successful businessmen they are that is probably not the way Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon al Mubarak really conducts themselves and stick to what we are currently doing in the Transfer Market and off the field.

Establishing the food chain is the best way to remain on top. A lot easier in smaller leagues but English clubs have done it somewhat earlier with okay success. We have been recruiting from inside the Premier League a lot lately, I think it is time to try and lure away players from inside the top 6 (Ødegaard, Van de Ven at some point? I'll whisper it but Mainoo) to grow our strenght while directly weaken our opposition and not just the best players from the teams outside of the big six (Grealish, Mahrez, Nunes)

We can forget the two North London clubs if we are trying to prise away their better players. Levy will flat out refuse to sell us Van den Ven even if we did come in with really tempting offer Harry Kane being the prime example of that happening. Mainoo is not that special enough for us to consider really splashing the cash on.

Mainoo is another myth. Watch him without the sound on where the commentators big him up and you’ll see how ineffective he truly is.
Makes me laugh this.

We were looking at him at the end of last season/beginning of the season and it didn’t happen for whatever reason which could have been United or us.

We can’t even get hype for Phil Foden who is a generational talent.

A DM in a team that can not defend yet is still praised, his international call up is the biggest joke since that world beater Rashford, who Southgate also gave his international debut to, without playing in the U21`s

Schade is back after a very long injury, for those who liked Sane this lad is worth the watch, there was no sign of the blistering pace, but he still had the quality to get past the defense, scored though it was virtually an empty net, the shot was sweet well taken and blasted, a confident strike, if he gets his pace back this is one we should snap up.

He isn't really a DM, much more a offensive midfielder good at carrying the ball and finding short passes. Reminds me a bit of Clarence Seedorf. He is very talented but his talent will go the way of everyone else at Old Trafford

That maybe, but when he came on for England he played DM, and every time i have seen him he has been ordinary, i do not doubt we would have taken him, but that would have been on a free, which is about how highly i rate him.

Other than the fact that he somehow has a Champions League medal, I'm struggling to see what else there is to remind anyone, even a bit, of Clarence Seedorf.
