Blimey we look knackered. Unfortunately De Bruyne has struggled to play two games in a short space of time.

Doku has no idea how to deal with their left wingback.

Bernie looks bolloxed.

Either Bernie out to the right and kova on or Haaland on and Alvarez out to the right to stop their attacks down that side.
 
That didn't go quite as I expected! Grateful for the lead but we have ridden our luck a fair bit. This formation just isn't working against Forest and we have been able to really seize control of the match or create much at all.

I'd look at making some changes 2nd half. I'd bring Kovacic on for Doku and move Bernardo onto the right to try and get some kind of control. It's been far too easy for them to play through us. Maybe Haaland for Alvarez if he's for enough. Not that Alvarez has done anything wrong but we just need to get at their defence a bit more and give KDB something to aim at.

If we can get our game going and control the game, we should win this.
 
deja vu. many people piling on the defenders in a what is midfield game. oh well
 
Great goal just need to sort out the defensive side of our game on the right side and we will be ok. Walker looks great going forward but man oh man he seems reluctant to actually defend these days.

The reality is though that Thursday was a walk in the park. It couldn’t have been much easier. We need to be much better than this.
 
Pep has some sorting out to do. Expect a lot from us. We are sloppy and half-heartened.
Could and maybe should have 2-1 to Forest.

Normally a peptalk does a lot and I expect no changes. Just a lot sharper every single one of them.

Subs coming on depending how things have fared after 60 l6( min.
 
Awful. Very fortunate to be ahead but we won't be for much longer if we don't sort it out.

Walker has been abysmal once again, captaincy massages his ego too much, walker is at his worse when he's got a big head, do what you're good at and keep everything else simple, you're not kdb stop trying inch perfect passes and keep the ball moving.

Grealish offered nothing in attack which isn't unexpected at this point but he's not tracking the wing back either.

Doku on the right doesn't work because we heavily skew our attack down the left and don't play down the right often enough and even when we do, we've got walker taking 45 seconds to play a simple pass and denying him the chance to attack his marker.

Corners look like a goal waiting to happen, there's 2 players on top of ederson everytime and they're sticking the ball right on him, he needs a shield infront otherwise one of them will result in a goal.

Switch Bernardo to the right, Doku left and get kovacic on for grealish if we haven't drastically improved in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

This is screaming Forest away last season right now. Sort it city!
