Fulham (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

What was the narrative? I watch on the dodgy box with Champion and Townsend on comms, they were bigging up Fulham but when they were beat they reverted to how good we are and how difficult to beat.

McCoist whinged and whinged on about City's third goal being offside, first he was adamant Akanji touched the ball, then he was adamant Akanji was / must be interfering with play..

All fkin wrong calls, I could see from 200 miles away what the fcuk was going on..

Both then whinged about Josko not taking the penalty for his hat trick, despite him not being the nominated penalty taker and both seemed absolutely obvious to the fact that our goal difference needed improving which would have a better chance to do this by letting Alvarez take the penalty..

McCoist nominated Josko for man of the match, then both said they should give it to Rodri because he refused to take the penalty..

Pair of fkin wankers..!

The Boys in Blue didn't give in, they fought to the end. Thank you City, thank you lads, thank you fans. You did us proud. You showed 'em, you showed 'em all.
Especially the Southern softy Cottagers, We're tearing Cockney's apart again. I told you we would show you but I won't say sorry Southern Softies, no matter how much I like the walk along the river!! ;-)
Especially the know nowt media crowd, oh how I am laughing today as you all have to rewrite your stupid biased articles because we won AGAIN. Put that in your pipe and smoke them you load of losers.
Especially that crowd of Specsavers needing lot laughingly referred to as the officials. Boy oh Boy did we show you today, you corn nut, bucket head, shiitake mushrooms. I've told you you will never drag us down, you definitely need to remember who we are WE ARE MANCHESTER CITY, THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. You bunch of fiddle faddle, fish stick, fudge nuggets. now do you understand.

Shame about John Boy especially as there are three players I really want to vote for for MOTM. It's so much easier if Pep would put JB on the pitch!!! :-)
WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, TOP OF THE LEAGUE, OH MAN CITY, WE'RE TOP OF THE LEAGUE.
CITY FOR EVER.

Great result/performance. Gvardiol gets better every game. I thought Kovacic was really good, taking pressure off Rodri, allowing him to quietly to have another great game. We were so professional today, considering the pace they have. We'll done city, and great support from the travelling blues.

Both sound in my opinion

Excellent, controlled performance, with Kovacic and Rodri pivotal to that control. Gvardiol's ceiling is higher than any defender in world football, IMO, and super cameos from Lewis and Bobb give a clue to a very bright future. Absolutely loved it, apart from the relentless commentary about what 'looks like the way for Fulham'.

That went near enough what I expected and the only negative was Nathan Ake's injury.
