The songs are shite, but then they always have been. Waterloo is just about the worst song ABBA ever did.

The acts try too hard to be unique and the voting system is wank, it should be professional music people who can tell who can perform properly giving out the points. But the acts have to be the way they are to garner the public vote.

They should group all the nations into 4 regions and the judges can only vote in the 3 regions they’re not in, to stop all this Greece/Cyprus type nonsense. Then put the final 4 to the public if that’s what they want to do. Scrap all this semi-final buggering about.

I couldn't believe they said he's had UK number ones. Complete seedy wrongun, and I'd say the same if he was writhing around with scantily clad women before someone starts. Funny how when couple of years ago we had a normal bloke singing a decent original song and came second isn't it!

That was a stitch up between him and the BBC to be this year's entry.

Next year they'll go back to having the public vote on 10 different acts.

Our song was at best bland and the singing was flat. All rounded off by a performance that the singer may have thought edgy and clever but left the public cold.

Managed to out gay Eurovision which is a first.
