You’ve hit the nail on the head. Jamie Jackson of Red Issue is just one example, mention it on any of his Gruniad articles leads to an instant ban, a very uncomfortable truth for him.

The Jonathan Liew article yesterday was frankly embarrassing, not even fanzine standard.i can only assume these so called sports journalists have other income streams, maybe Deliveroo riders and the like, they‘ll be getting paid peanuts. The Gruniad are skint and is basically a few decent journalists like John Crace and Marina Hyde, the rest is just filler.
John crace who is usually good on politics had some of the same old shite to say about City the other day. If I recall correctly he is a gooner

Alan Pardew on TS just saying he thought before our game yesterday it could be a shock but finished it by saying that almost always the early kick offs favour the away team. Such BS and then reverted to type 115 yawn yawn. Same guy who spoke so beautifully to Pellegrini at St James Park ten years ago.
Fella loves himself , proper twat

Even your love Marina put the boot in the other month.

The last few days the muen has really gone to town over the f..k ups at the CO - OP Arena, just wonder if the new “shower ,and floor washing “method at the Sty will get a mention as it’s been going on for years.

Pardew's currently out of work after leaving Aris Salonica last year "by mutual consent". (i.e. They told him to fuck off and he went). He'll prostitute himself for any gig he can get right now the "fucking old ****".

Pellegrini won more than that turd could ever dream about. Hope he wakes up in a cold sweat remembering the ‘dance’ at Wembley.

Spurs fan. Famously said the worst thing is watching MotD after you've lost thinking the result might be different.

MUEN with a very misleading headline in the city section.
A total piece of arse wiping material

Sorry but many of my left leaning mates treat it like the bible and all the stupid fuckers subscribe to keep it alive!!!!

Then it must just be your mates keeping it going because their hardcopy sales and revenues are pitiful.

It's just such a miserable read. They seem to find misery in everything.

Keown on MOTD: "I watched them at Craven Cottage yesterday. They played like champions. They aren't champions".

Absolute fucking WEAPON.

Also not even true. We’ve been Premier League Champions for 1095 days since winning it on 12/5/2021 and we stay Premier League champions until someone can take it off us.

Bloody hell, when you put it like that, it's incredible isn't it ? The longest serving Champions in the history of English football. We need a song for that if we do it this season.

That would probably be Everton who won the league in 1938/39.

Technically not true.
Everton were champions from May 1939 to May 1947 due to the suspension of the Football League in WW2.
For similar reasons Blackpool can claim to behave been top of the league for the longest consecutive time having been top of the league when the Footbsll League was suspended in September 1939 - a record unlikely ever to be beaten (unless WW3 kicks in).
But this is nit picking on my part - should we win our next two games . - 4 seasons would be the longest spell retaining the title, and we'd have to win it 7 times on the bounce to equal Everton's 'record'.
But as always it isn't over till It's over. We have win both our remaining games to win it this season. We haven't won it yet!

But I know what you mean. - though we'd have to win it 7 times on the bounce to equal that particular record which is very unlikely to happen.

"Longest serving champions in the history of English football, excluding the suspension due to the second world war,

You'll never sing that!"

I suspect we won't, either. Shame ....
