Way of the world, son.I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong, but saying that isn't really proof of anything.
That's how business works

It's all very odd.Given that the PL is supposed to endorse or reject within a certain timeframe which they haven't would assume there is an implied acceptance of the hotel deal.
Mate you and i both know what kicked off the investigation, like with any civil investigation, who does it benefit and you wont be far wrong but like i say if the pl investigated everyone with exactly the same level of vigour that they have us then you could say well fair enough at least theyve been even handed but the fact is they have not and to undertake the level of investigation that they did the assumption was that we were guilty and like i stated earlier if you go into an investigation with that mindset then you will find something like i say its confirmation bias. What I mean by that is that Liverpool settled with us so we seem to have just closed it off there. I think there's been a change in tone from our upper management since the mid 2010s FFP punishment and they'd be a little less forgiving if it happened now.
We don't really know what warranted an investigation on the PLs part. Maybe it's the heavy investment in transfers of that time, I'd like to think that we get something more to go on once the review kicks off. But we both know that's probably not going to happen.
The FA/PL had to investigate the accusation Standard Operating Procedure, the CAS result would not have changed that, and there are different rules. But they will have taken into account the CAS ruling, which is why for the first two years nothing happened. We were literally cleared by the court of arbitration for sport and it didnt draw a line under it but they should have theres drawn under it and regardless of the breach or size of it why was it swept under the carpet and a line drawn under it?
While i am not necessarily disagreeing with you what i am asking is why every single club hasnt been subjected to the in depth and forensic investigation that we have despite there being ample reason to do so and that is my point, if everybody had been subjected it to it then you could say we have been treated fairly, the fact that they havent is what i question as the bottom line is that if you go into any investigation with the supposition of guilt then you are likely to find something to confirm your bias.
I do lots of irony but, of course, very hard to tell these days. Now deleted! It’s plain he doesn’t do irony. It’s not a capital offence.

It does warp your senses. So many fckin shit replies on Twitter. The good thing about this tweet was there were soooo many shit replies I don’t get tempted to reply!!I think you are suffering from shell shock after fending off countless attacks on X.
You need time away from the front line....

Cause Rick n dave sign them offdespite suspicious accounting practices of liverpool and outright cheating in terms of hacking our database and despite the rags failing uefas version of ffp why have neither of these teams been subjective to the detailed investigation of their accounts going back over 15 years and an absolute forensic investigation of their books and business practices in the same manner that we have?
Etihad were on their arse at the time being funded by the Abu Dhabi government There was an email talking about moving funds and payments of their sponsorship deal. HH was referred to which has been incorrectly interpreted as being Mansour when in fact only President (in 2014 Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan) is referred to has HH in this way Anyhow funds for the sponsorship were provide to Etihad as part of their government support and this was accepted at CASThe line of thinking that always amazes me is the idea that Mansour was so influential in Abu Dhabi that he could tell a highly-regulated company in a highly-regulated industry that he would give them some money on the side to top-up the City sponsorship, but he wasn't influential enough, or wasn't smart enough, to have got the state to fund Etihad with a tiny bit more money so they could pay the sponsorship directly.
I just don't see the joined-up thinking in these allegations.
They aren't dealing with some idiot Del Boy character here .....
Edit: That would be Chelsea we are talking about there. Sorry, couldn't resist :)
Was stories that the fbi got info on platini from the middle eastThere's a tiny conspiracy theorist in me that thinks the club has something on surrounding clubs that they're willing to go public with if we get unfairly punished.
Not sure if being ironic…I do lots of irony but, of course, very hard to tell these days.
Surely we're more likely to do this if we win our case. Assuming the PL don't try to strike a deal that sees a City win but any action from us against other clubs is off the table. There's a tiny conspiracy theorist in me that thinks the club has something on surrounding clubs that they're willing to go public with if we get unfairly punished.

You are berry berry berry naive .Do you have proof that the Premier League are soliciting and engaging with the assistance of other clubs in an investigation of Man City's alleged cheating?
I'm not saying those other clubs aren't trying to influence it. I'm saying the Prem isn't going to consult with them on it.
When they punished Everton and Forest, did they punish them based on what Burnley thought of the matter?
I await the Premier League moving on to the next club to see if they are 'clean'.I can send Pep an email with tactical analysis for the Spurs game but that doesn't mean he will pay attention to it.
The PL aren't collaborating with other teams no matter what those teams try and do.
If they actually did that and that was ever provable, the PL would be susceptible to an absolute nuclear bomb of antitrust legal action.
Would any of this be put in the public domain?Given that the PL is supposed to endorse or reject within a certain timeframe which they haven't would assume there is an implied acceptance of the hotel deal.
Funny you should mention Pep when he himself name-checked Daniel Levy last year as someone whose hands are all over this. Pep's far from stupid and wouldn't go around lobbing accusations like that if he didn't have any evidence of it.I can send Pep an email with tactical analysis for the Spurs game but that doesn't mean he will pay attention to it.
