PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You'd think the takeover had only just happened 2 years ago wouldn't you? its near on 16 years ago since we were bought, there wouldn't be a peep tbh if we had been restricted like Newcastle have been - or if united had gone toe to toe with us since baconface retired.
Or if the sheik had bought the rags instead of us,

If we had stamped on shit like this from day one instead of being Mr nice guy.
Only ourselves to blame for the continuous daily bombardment of bile
I d have supported such an approach...a strong straightener might have ruffled some feathers but it may have deterred the 'open season' attacks that have built and multiplied as the know nowts have sensed their opportunities of a moment of fame and piled in.

We are ruthless on the pitch, I hope we are are now going to be ruthless off it !!

But the attacks on City and Sheikh Mansour began almost literally the day news of the takeover broke, long before we became the dominant force. First it was the Robinho transfer and City's money ruining football (thank you GPC), then it was the schools and hospitals Sheikh Mansour could build instead of wasting his money on City, then when we lost at home to Everton we were told he should have bought the Toffees and built them a new ground rather than put money into a lost cause like City. This was before the attack on the waste of money on the academy which hadn't produced one first team player even after being open for a whole week end. When Pep arrived we had already moved into the regulation change phase. So I think it's a little more than fearing the dominant force. A cynic might feel there's some regional prejudice and even a touch of racism involved ...
No different to when Roman took over Chelsea, he was the evil one bringing down the glorious reign of the piss can.

If Newcastle are allowed to spend the owners cash they will become the new hated one.

I said earlier we are hated because we are serial winners, when the hatred stops, worry, because we will have stopped wining and stopped winning multiple titles.

It's so fecking tedious now. The big guy in Saudi was questioned about Sportswashing. He basically said he didn't recognise it and wasn't bothered about what other people said about it. What he was bothered about, he said, was the bottom line and getting a return of 1 or 2 % above base rate.
Went over the heads of a lot or just not reported.

Arsenal left Highbury for the Emirates-funded new stadium with the precise intention to double their income and become the dominant force in English football.
And didn’t succeed because their board didn’t put their own money in and used the income to pay for the new stadium instead of investing in the squad which is why they slipped backwards so far. The greater irony was our ‘oil’ money was ok when we were buying their castoffs.

And the same people who use this current success to attack our dominance will be the same people who belittle us when Pep is gone and we ain’t winning everything.

Basically these people are thick wankers. Unfortunately there is tons of them about and like with anything in life mass idiocracy normally prevails.
Thick jealous wankers.

It’s a myth. Total bollocks…what is it they’re supposed to be washing ?
Indeed. If its motorsports in Abu Dhabi its not sports washing. Boxing. Glorious Qatar Goodwood. Are all not sportswashing.

The NHS are health washing. Our armed forces are gun washing.

It only applies to football, specifically the enemies of the cartel.

Sportswashing. Still a ridiculous term bandied about by cunts who support football teams that are mismanaged on and off the pitch.
Can see that having a big audience :)
Radio 4 at 8pm on a Tuesday night…the streets will be deserted
I wonder if they'll mention where Fury is fighting on saturday

Just been watching a Twisted Sister video on youtube "We're not going to take it!". Younger forum members will never have heard of this band. Anyway, it does not matter. What is interesting is that the opening sequence of the video reminded me of the 115 charges...how you ask? Well, if you watch the beginning of the video it should all become clear.

Kid on the guitar is Man City
Angry Dad is the Premier League
Sniggering kid at the breakfast table is The Red Cartel
Woman with the bucket of water is the Independent Commission

I am probably going mad, but thought I would share.

Ohhh look what's on Radio 4 just as the game at Spurs kicks off ...

Just been listening to it.
Disappointed Dave Haslam is getting involved in this.
What do these people want us to do ? Bomb the fuck out of all these 'authoritarian' states? Brilliant.
Nothing says human rights like being bombed to pieces.

Oh yes there's definitely an agenda and it's of course selective.

What did Daventry Dave have to say?

There is an odd assumption that if the ruling family were overthrown in the UAE the people there would all elect the Arab Liberal Democrats.

All experience suggests that they would not - to put it mildly.

Cultural imperialism has been a long-standing error in Western democracy. We take it for granted our way is best. (The USA do this in spades.) The majority of countries, and not least Muslim countries, do not see it that way at all.

wonder how this sportwashing is looked at through certain company called Emirates being main sponsor for Arsenal for so long. wonder is that sponsorship deal is just another sportwashing exercise ?
but as I seen little criticism towards Arsenal in press related to that I guess its all good.

Did the referees have Emirates on there tops?
