Bruno Guimaraes

Not many Premier League club ones....Grealish took its time.
Because we were trying to negotiate a lower fee with Villa. They didn't want to sell so we had to force the issue by meeting the amount of the release clause. Villa were unable to do anything about it then.

This isn't a little cut and dried.
It really is that simple. He had a release clause and when we matched that, he was able to come. Villa couldn't block it. If we'd offered less (as I believe we initially did), then Villa had the right to reject our offer.

Plenty of bait in this one too. Same with the Paqueta signing. No real signs Bruno G is moving. One month before the rumoured release clause deadline ends.

I don’t know about better, I think Oaqueta is incredibly talented, but I think Bruno is a better target. His skill set is rarer - there’s not many players who can play 6 and 8 equally well and be creative from deep and around the box.

Wingers/Attacking midfielder hybrids are common as muck really, there’s a new £100m one every year.

Rodri-Bruno-Foden could be a midfield until 2030.
Paqueta is a player that plays 8 and 10 but has defensive attributes that you find in players, playing 6 and constantly pressing and willing to do the dirty work. If required, he can create like a 10. Paqueta is such a baller.

Bruno is a 6 and 8 as you have stated. The reason Bruno can create from deep is because he can play as an 8. That is why I like NEVES so much, he does that with ease, his that guy. Back to Bruno, Bruno has that DOG in him, that our players lack, which would be a good thing for us to have.

If we had gotten both players, it would have been remarkable. We would go back to dominating the MIDFIELD BATTLE in every match, given the fact we play possession based football and our players try to win the ball very fast. It would have been a beautiful sight to see. I personally believe that Paqueta and Bruno G complement each other well.

Haaland took it's time too and Dortmund play in the Bundesliga so made it a little easier.
Personal terms and release clauses are two separate things. Haaland took his time because he had multiple clubs willing to trigger his release clause, so he took some time to figure out which one was the best fit for him.

Release clauses mean diddly squat.
Ray, a release clause being triggered and a player willing to leave means everything. Nothing can be done by the club he plays for. He wants to leave and RC is triggered, then its bye, bye.

He would be a great addition. I'm not sure he will though. He seems pretty loyal to Newcastle so my best guess if he's moving is that it's over to another league
Money talks. As do trophies. And being able to play as a midfielder under Pep is a massive draw for any player.

Guimares is leaving Newcastle, the question is if it's to us or a rival.

Again we Bruno G isn't a must have signing.....
Bruno G isn't a must, but someone to play double pivot with Rodri and play solo DM without Rodri is a MUST. If Bruno G comes, then he is that guy being trusted to do that.

Mad that anyone thinks this lad is anywhere near good enough for us

He punches his fist to the crowd when he makes a tackle, and that's enough to think it's a no from me

If I've missed something fair enough, but just dont see him as a City player
Perhaps if he punched two fists. I always judge a player on fist pumps

This isn't a little cut and dried.
It is, (IF!!) we activate the RELEASE CLAUSE

If it's as irrelevant as you seem to think, why do you thing Eddie Howe made a point of saying, that there is one, but only until end of June. Basically he was keeping his fingers crossed, and was acknowledging that if it was activated & Bruno wanted to go, there was nothing they could do!!!
