City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

I’d imagine there’ll be more to follow soon. Wednesday Week perhaps.
Mind you, I’m looking forward with relish, as Here Comes The Summer.
It’s Going To Happen, whatever I suppose.
Good job Pannick said to Khaldoon “You’ve Got My Number” last time he saw him……

This is great, good to see the club standing up and flexing it's muscles, and as it summer, we need excitement and need it bad!

please someone break it down really really simply. this good or bad for us regarding 115

glass half empty. I’m thinking the case of the 115 charges ain’t going well at all and city are trying to sling some mud about the place. If it was going well why would we rock the boat.

Not a good sign for me, sounds like it's a last gasp attempt to throw off a bad outcome from the 115

Nothing to do with 115 charges.

It's a seperate issue to do with limiting Newcastles and our own sponsorship deals.

Also I've found Nick Harris' other accounts.

Am I right in thinking that this case will be heard in open court (as opposed to the 115 case which will be a closed hearing). If so perhaps this gives the club the chance to put into the public domain some of the stuff that’s been flung our way by the cartel and the PL. Interesting times if that’s the case.

And for all those who have been whinging and whining about our PR team not going all out, this will be why. There is so much going on in the background that we will never even hear of, they've been given their directions and have been doing their jobs all along. May you live in interesting times.

I wonder if City are expecting something in particular to come from the 115 charges case, that goes against us. 'Yeah we know you're innocent but we are going to find you guilty anyway' sort of thing?

2 separate cases and City suing the PL over this issue has been a strong possibility for months. City told the PL they were considering this and obviously followed through with it after taking advice from their lawyers. If I remember correctly rules were introduced shortly after which said the Directors of the clubs that brought it in could not be sued personally.

Most seem to think City will struggle with this but City must think otherwise or they wouldn’t have bothered.

By the time this is all said and done there's going to be a load of 16-21 year olds with enough legal knowledge and jargon to put them through Uni
Just waiting for Meghan Markle and the cast of "Suits" to make an appearance.
