Id expect the bars to be loads worse for an LG gig, id start queuing now mate!

Expensive price just to throw over everyone

My lad (23 today) got given ticket for Pumpkins, said sound was best he'd heard at a gig (more a Gorilla/Gulliver's venue fan), which I think counts highly with artists themselves. He had his beer beforehand!

I thought it was v good bar the toilets which were ridiculously small for a venue of that size.

James were absolutely magnificent! What a gig that was!

Queues move quick. Very slick. The first bar was busy but you can bypass that and go up the escalators. That one was quick and toilets empty.

The arena is not perfect in its design but I really liked it. The standing area is very wide so plenty of room and the sound and visuals were cracking.

Depends on the set up. They pull out the bottom half of the lower tier to make more standing room if that’s what the performer would prefer.

Yeah, it's great overall.

I've never really been one for Arenas that much, I prefer smaller gigs, but it's better than the AO in just about every way for me.

It looks spectacular when you walk in and the house lights are down. It is fundamentally a good arena, but having said that, arenas will never compare to somewhere like the Apollo. The sound just seemed like typical arena sound to me, but then, I was in the seats cos I had the kids with me. Those in the standing area are reporting good sound, so...

Went to LG last night.

Thoughts on the arena..

Humongous queues to get in but in fairness they move quick. Probs 45 mins.

Not sure what was going on with the bars, the one i was at was a help yourself then pay but it was that badly organised even my best attempts to give money failed so i just walked off and had a free beer.

Inside the venue is breathtakingly good. Its a truly awesome sight.
The sound was great.
The view was great.

I might be pushing the start time as I’m working until 7.30 ish. Are you queues as bad as people are saying? Is it worth getting the Backstage Club to make to make sure we don’t miss anything?

I agree. Was superb. Sound quality was amazing. Best indoor venue I've been to. Better than Knebworth that liam gig.

Went to the eagles last week when we arrived at 840 there was no queue what so ever.

Time did you go in? We got there at about 7.30 for James and it was ok then. 5 mins.
