From BBC...

Ferdinand - "The current balance of the team is not allowing the players to reach the levels that they have done for clubs. Phil Foden is out of position and not playing his best, maybe Jude Bellingham would be better playing at number eight. It is a big concern."

"On the balance of England's midfield, Ferdinand added: "I would put Declan Rice in the six, Jude Bellingham in the eight running from deep and Phil Foden in the free role as the 10. I think that is how you will get the best of these players."

More faces than the Town Hall clock, this bloke.

Happy to go along with the hysteria about Bellingham, when things are going well, then reverts to what everyone with a brain is saying, when we put in that performance last night.

Tit
Yeah and the cream fest about Trent playing in midfield soon dried up

20 years ago when the rags were the dominant club, did you want Rooney, Beckham, Scholes, Wio to do well, because I didn't, I was hoping they broke their legs, when Beckham was sent off against the Argies in the WC I was the happiest man alive.

Club football will always be No1 in England and thank the lord it is.
Amen to that.

More USA ownership of the premier league incoming https://apple.news/A1nhyYv9ES4iFDD-GyMwDow

This is without doubt the biggest concern for the future of the premier league. I’m convinced that the American owners will cooperate with each other to reach their desired aims of a salary cap and no promotion and no relegation target. And these 3 targets are just for starters. I think they form a bigger threat than the Saudi Pro League ever will.

We are sleep walking into American control of English football.

BBC Headline:

Former England star banned from driving over crash

BBC actual story:

Former Manchester United and England footballer Nicky Butt has been banned from driving over a crash which left a motorcyclist with a broken leg.
Was the article illustrated with an image of a City player?

For me a lot of my dislike of him came from the two games we played against Madrid last season. He was a snidey horrible fucker who spent two games trying to get City players booked, diving and constantly whinging at the ref whilst actually doing nothing on the pitch. Really put me off him.
The same matches were where my dislike began as well, but for me it was when Bellingham took a dive (Foden never touched him) and whilst on the deck (his favoured position) he began pleading with the ref to book Foden. Phil patted him on the back and put a friendly arm round his shoulder in an attempt to induce some sort of "mates" calmness into the proceedings which Bellingham just shrugged it off and continued to demand a card for his dive whilst never once acknowledging Phil's existence.

The lads a bit of a **** IMO

Yep completely agree. Very dislikable especially when he’s playing against you.
