Jay Slater | Inquest begins (P173)

Not even a mention on the bbc1 news tonight
Reading some of the press angle today, and going off what the dad said about police not sharing info, I'm beginning to think they don't think he has just had an accident on the mountains.
Sounds like there is some regrouping going on with the approach, which might explain why it's gone quiet.

Also that bat shit lady Hammo who killed her husband, and she said was a road rage incident, never forget her press conference think she was nicked five minutes after.
Think that was on a TV programme highlighting the use of video body language, vital to the case.

Or there was just no news to impart?

Obviously.
Although some reports are that they are now beginning to focus on his history and background/associates.

If the police really want concrete evidence, they just need to read this thread.

The only thing we don't know is how much his mum's house is worth. But we're on the case.....

Not sure I follow sorry. Not being obtuse btw.
Just that you are right, but that they may also be switching focus and/or considering different scenarios which sometimes leads to things going quiet whilst they do that. All pure conjecture I admit although I did read they had reinterviewed the Lucy girl. Which can be an indication that they are looking at other possibilities that they may have missed first time.

Well they have to cover all angles I suppose.

It sounds to me he got off his nut, which a couple of videos confirm, then he's gone back to some after party with two fellas up in the mountain, probably for some more gear. Then at 8 in the morning he's decided to go back to where he was staying. A lady said he asked her what time the bus is and she said 2 hours. I think him being off his nut has probably thought he isn't waiting 2 hours and stupidly attempted to walk, possibly for a bus stop further down to kill some time. Of course, it's mountainess terrain, its easy to get lost and very difficult to navigate without skill, experience and necessities, which he doesn't have.

I really think that's the top and bottom of it. Him calling his friend saying he's lost, plus asking a local lady when the bus is and then later wandering off, I think it pretty much backs it up.

There's a lot of crazy internet conspiracies on Facebook about this case from people who have watched too many Netflix documentaries and there's also people calling people he was with over there drug smugglers and things like that, which they should be very careful about because there's no evidence of that as it stands.

In my opinion its a case of the ol' Occam's razor. The simplest theory usually being the biggest possibility.

It’s just a bit tedious everytime a child/teenager whatever goes missing - so many online turn into body language experts and always suspicious of the Parents - just to compound their grief even more.
Fair enough pal. I'm not going to argue the point. The truth will out one day.
