It’d be almost career suicide for him too. The expectation would be crazy coupled with playing in a league no one really watches.
I agree it would be career suicide. He’d be made the face of the league. The new face of PSG etc that’s a serious amount of pressure for a 16 year old.

He doesn’t have the close control or technical ability to play the possession game. Maybe as an understudy to Haaland he might work but that’s not happening.I’m not ever going to advocate signing the Saint, but it would be interesting to see how he’d progress with proper coaching.

I remember Napoli schooling us a few years ago (actually it was over 10 years ago). They had hamsik/levizzi/cavani as a 3 up front. Brilliant attacking side at the time. That’s the system the saint would work well in.Not for us, no. Doesn't seem to be much urgency from any club to sell this week to beat any PSR deadline.I don't think this window is a lot different, the 2 tournaments don't help, but just think less leaks. Personally think it will 3 out be 2 maybe 3 in, including Savio so not much to do really.Usually it seems that way - targets identified, personal terms agreed etc and then the finance guys negotiate with the club. But this window seems a bit odder than most - no real concrete targets (Bruno G a possible exception), clubs wanting to do deals to beat PSR and uncertainty about some of our players getting heads turned. Interesting time to be a DoF

No idea doubt it though Berrada was trusted by Txiki. Yes and we leak less than most and have for years. Thing is we may only be looking at 2 players Savio and one other, we know exactly who they are they may both be busy playing and nothing will move until they've finished playing.Well yeah, clubs don't tend to overtly state who they are after, that's why it's leaked.

Here's a wild arse guess. Gundo comes back as player/coach. Pep signs a one year extension. Then we have a perfectly planned and executed two year transition. While Gundo completes his coaching qualification we continue to dominate with Pep at the helm. Then Gundo takes over in a sublime and seamless transition.
