We claim to be the only real club in Manchester but I was frankly embarrassed by our support the other night. Its no good singing "we're not really here if the ground is 3 quarters empty!

26000 is over half full.

Only just realised or something. Who cares anywat as long as I was there I'm not really bothered. The atmosphere was pretty good anyway I thought, prehaps because the hardcore weren't diluted by the others.

Gotta agree with Mr Raggy ... with embarassments like the attendance the other night is it any suprise Kaka wasn't interested.

Hopefully with some more big names this summer the attendances might climb next season.

jeff raggley is right, shit crowd, loyal, local and vocal but shit in numbers.

You'd be surprised how many blues were on the train back to Sheffield.
Sheffield trains go to Marple or Stockport though.

They certainly do. But still saw plenty of shirts and scarves when I got off the train.

I hope you are filled with glowing pride when your team united play in front of a full stadium, which you dont contribute to in any way by watching the match in the pub and therefore cant take the piss out of other people who dont go to football matches either
