Best team in Europe by a mile. They are mostly young players so, this is probably only the first of a few tournament wins. Can’t argue with class. They are a unit going forward and without the ball. Top talents to turn something out of nothing. England need a complete rethink on how to use what you have. Looking at the squad, then watching how it’s used, screams this isn’t working. For the vast majority of this tourney, you looked pedestrian, lacked spark, lacked leaders on the park. Creatively not at the races, creating next to fuck all. In flashes it clicked, not enough. The task is developing a style that suits what you have at hand. Too safe and a favourable draw got you there, just. Never enough to win it. Now or anytime soon.
