I thought it was 2 French but it was hard to follow - the commentators didn’t have a scooby what the rules wereI think they had one each - if not it was deffo home advantage ;)

Silver in the team sprint. Stood no chance of gold.
Gold and Silver from the first 2 track cycling events, looking good.
Excellent start, the best they could have hoped for against the Dutch. Hoping the women paced the team pursuit to save the legs for the next round and hopefully gold medal race.

Superb run from Hudson Smith. Going to be an epic final and a very quick one. Hopefully he has a lot more in the tank after easing off with 50 to go, could go low 43...pressure might tighten the legs a bit though.

BBC think they are so slick and smart, but they are just smug. Highlight for me was they had a camera at Keeley Hodgkinson’s sports club (Leigh?) last night and Gabby Logan was talking to them - not a flicker; she then said they’ll wave in a second, no reaction. They were clearly watching it on Eurosport or Discovery plus, despite the bbc camera. Kerr comes across as a bloke that could be easy to dislike. I'm not sure, to be honest. It's a fine line between cockiness/arrogance, and supreme confidence in your own ability.
